Hmm, I think some of the formatting stuff I've yet to put in place may solve the scrolling proble, there, Travis. Basically I need to set the area where the image shows up to a fixed height and see if that helps. If I had bothered to design my page images with a standard size, I wouldn't have that problem, though one of the things I liked about doing an online-only comic is that very freedom from constraints. Anyway, glad the navbars seem to be working properly for you. Thank the Yahoo! User Interface open source project (http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/) for those :)

Ian -- I didn't really get into Mozilla until I started doing more design with CSS and saw how weak IE's support for standards is. There's so much useful and nifty things that designers can do...that aren't supported by the browsers being used by probably 80% of the world.

By the way, the new dialogue avatars look kind of cool :) Can't wait to show them off this weekend.

I can't tell for sure if the scrolling is supposed to be fixed or not, but for me it scrolls back up to the top when I hit next (both in Firefox 2.0 and IE 7) unless I pull one of the nav bars way down so that the page has to be scrolled down for that nav bar to be visible. The nav bars are pretty cool though, and pulling one way down does prevent it from scrolling back up between images.

It seems to work just fine for me - I'm using Mozilla (as everyone should be...).
